Absolute Best

The Skin & Wellness Range by Angie Best

I have been an admirer of Angie Best’s approach to health and wellness for years and when she kindly agreed to appear on the podcast, it was a no-brainer to give the products a try!

I have tried CBD once previously in a light skincare oil that I was gifted and proceeded to buy again several times as my skin loved it.  As I am fortunate to receive products to try for the channel and blog, I don’t always repurchase excellent products as I’m moving onto the next item to test and trial.

This doesn’t stop me collating my go-to list of brands I rate highly and I can add another one to the list: Absolute Best Advanced Skin Serum.  The full range consists of skincare, oils and patches, all organic and resulting from Angie’s 25 years of research and development to create the highest quality broad spectrum CBD products.  I chose the serum as I haven’t ventured into CBD oil to ingest.  Speaking with Angie on the podcast, her knowledge of the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) was fascinating and drew my attention to a world of self care that I didn’t know much about.  I will be looking to Angie for advice when its time to venture into CBD for therapeutic purposes.

The Absolute Best Advanced Skin Serum is light, non-greasy and easily absorbed.  A little goes a long way and I’ve been using it every morning for over a month.  I can react to products if they are  highly perfumed or too rich for my skin and this is neither.  What really drew me to it was the transparency of the brand.  It’s proudly organic, clear in displaying the ingredients list and deliberate in choosing to veto unnecessary additives.  It also proves that you don’t need ingredients to extend the shelf life if you want to invest in a skin product that does what you want it to do without an extensive inci list.

This serum has just six ingredients, each one included due to its potency and effectiveness.

  • Niacinamide to hydrate and improve the skin’s appearance.

  • Colloidal Gold to stimulate and improve collagen.

  • Hyuralonic Acid to retain moisture and a plump appearance.

  • Squalane to prevent moisture loss and neutralise UV damage.

  • CBD oil to reduce redness and provide a hydrating glow.

  • Aloe Vera gel for its soothing and moisturising properties, plus as a chemical free preservative.

After speaking with Angie and trying my first product, I am on board with the Absolute Best message.  If you want to delve into the world of CBD products under the guidance of an expert, check out the website and Angie’s instagram feed.
